Featherstone Canyon Christian Camp is a 160 acre "island" completely surrounded  by the Cleveland  National Forest.  It is  located at an elevation of 2500 feet above sea level, four miles off Wildcat Canyon Road.

Featherstone Canyon Christian Camp is located midway between Lakeside and Ramona in San Diego County. There are several miles of hiking trails through stands of old oak trees, chaparral, and granite rock formations. A natural outdoor amphitheater is located on one of the trails.  Wildlife in the area includes coyotes, raccoons, bobcats, rabbits, ground squirrels, and numerous birds, including red-tailed hawk.

Outside the main camp area are two picnic areas,  tent  camping  and  RV  sites; several with full hookups. A dump station is located nearby. As many as 20 rigs can dry camp in one part of this primitive area.
